Tatum and Mason are enjoying their camps. This is Tatum's second week of Drama Camp. We should all know the School House Rock songs by now with as much as we hear them as Tatum practices. Tatum is familiar with the camp director, Mrs. Cheyenne, because she is the Middle School Drama teacher. Tatum has had drama the last 2 years and was picked to be in Advance Drama her upcoming 8th grade year. Surprisingly, Tatum hasn't wanted any major roles, though she would do great. She is quite outspoken and dramatic most of the time at home. I guess that is part of having a teenage daughter.
This is Mason's second day of baseball camp. There are only 2 coaches for boys ranging in age from 6 - 12. This is the 3rd year the camp has been in Columbus. Mason enjoys being outdoors and staying active. Despite the 90 degree temps. he says it is fun. He hopes to learn some tips that will help him with his batting and fielding. During the season he was very valuable to his team because he can play all of the infield positions except pitcher and catcher. It was not unusual for him to play 2-3 different infield positions in a game.
